- HP8000 family Introduction
HP8000-5/8/14 is a cost effective & versatile Multi Service Access Node (MSAN) solution that provides a unique set of capabilities enabling service providers to deliver the most competitive triple play service offerings. It enables carriers to provide high bandwidth service and voice service for customers and it can smoothly migrate to IP based next-generation applications while continuing to offer traditional TDM based services to customers. The HP8000-5/8/14 supports a range of technologies such as POTS, ADSL2/ADSL2+, VDSL2, SHDSL(EFM) which allows the service providers to offer highly interactive and bandwidth intensive applications. HP8000-5/8/14 acts as a traditional TDM based DLC, IPDSLAM, Media Gateway platform rolled into one.HP8000-5V is a new compact design (5 Rack Units ETSI height) MSAN platform which can provide GPON, VDSL, IMS access, VoIP media gateway, IP-DSLAM applications to serve varied subscriber needs thus enabling carriers to provide high bandwidth data and voice services for customers and smoothly migrate to IP based next-generation applications while continuing to offer traditional TDM based services.HP8000-5V - Product Highlights
